About Me
In the spring of 2003, during my first year of college at USU, I
took a general education business course where we were assigned the task
of building a webpage in Word. Thus began my love affair with design.
After graduating I began working full time for a web design company.
While I still enjoyed it, for the most part, I felt like something was
missing. I wasn’t happy with the designs I was creating. They were
“serious” and “corporate” and that just wasn’t me. When I made the move
to freelance full time, I decided to let my quirky flag fly, so to
speak. It may not be for everyone, but some people are going to love it.

Web Design
Development
Rick was looking for a website that would complement and
highlight his high-end real estate projects. Something clean and
contemporary where his photos could take the spotlight. We continue to
work together to keep the site current and fresh.
Possibly my favorite project ever, but full disclosure: the client is my
sister. The website was the launching point for getting her one-woman
business off the ground. I have since put together several other
marketing materials including newsletters, ads, and social media
banners.
One of the main functions of this site was to help visitors develop a
comfort level with the professional, fun, and educational environment of
the school. We worked together to create a design that was beautiful as
well as functional.
ONE is a development located in the heart of Greenville, South Carolina.
Their goal for the website was to create something fresh that would
show off their city and help out-of-towners to discover this neat town
and hopefully decide to bring their stores to the development.
There were two main functions required for this site: feature their
remodeling photos and make it simple to contact them directly for a
quote. Keeping the site clean and focused on content helped to achieve
this.
A personal project of mine. Mainly done just for fun, but also to get
information to other team members. With no design restrictions my
creativity tends to run rampant, but I was quite pleased with the way
this one turned out.
Best-selling author Adam Gidwitz was looking for a redesign that would
keep the same fun and personality from his old site, but expand to
include current and future projects. We worked together to create a
design that mirrored his unique writing style.
The goal with this design was to create a blend of east and west. They
wanted it to represent Indian weddings, but still be all-inclusive. We
kept things simple and focused on content so that their wedding videos
could take center stage.
